Vehicle Combat uses wrong size calculation
Greetings,
in my latest tests for vehicle combat, I experienced a strange behavior of the size calculation to hit a target vehicle.
When a player character mounts a vehicle as a pilot and shoots at any other Vehicle on the map,
the player vehicle´s shot is apperently calculated by the size of the piloting player´s size
instead of the mounted vehicle size. When the NPC mounted vehicle shoots back, the size calculation is correct.
An example: When the player´s vehicle with a size of 9 shoots at another vehicle with also a size of 9,
the shooting test shows vs Huge +4 but when the NPC vehicle shoots back the roll to hit shows no size modification at all.
This problem happens only, when using the player´s attack from the vehicle´s sheet shared to the player
- regardless if per double click or drag and drop to the target.
When the player´s attack roll is made from the GM´s CT the rolls are made correctly,
but the problem is, that players cannot see the traits and attacks of their mounted vehicles in the CT.
A workaround for this problem is to give the piloting player character the same size score as the vehicle e.g. [size +9] as long as mounting the vehicle but it seems to be a bit unhandy.
I tested it in a newly created Campaign without any extensions, just the SWADE Ruleset loaded.
FGU Version 4.0.6. and SWADE 5.2.12

Fantastic! Thanks a lot. I am really looking forward to use the vehicle combat feature more often when the issue is fixed
